Iride

Iride is a work designed to be a light source that comes out of the earth, achieved by projecting rays of light that are refracted in a play of lights and shadows. The almost complete darkness of the architectural environment that hosts it, with its black coloring, highlights the circularity of the light inherent in the individual.

Site-specific permanent installation, Palazzo Mongiò dell’Elefante della Torre, Galatina, Italy.

Materials: iron, incandescent light bulbs, light beam, 2014.
